Professional Biography: I graduated from Murray State University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and from the University of Louisville in 1990 with a Masters in Business Administration. I entered the United States Army in 1977 and retired in 1997 after serving for 20 years on active duty in various stateside and overseas assignments.
Personal Biography: I grew up in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and attended Christian County High School. I was blessed to be raised in a Christian home. I went to Murray State University where I met my husband, Michael, at the Baptist Student Union. We have two sons, Collin and Jacob. Collin graduated from Christian Fellowship School in 2005 and attends Murray State University. Jacob is currently attending CFS. We live in Grand Rivers, Kentucky, and we are actively involved at The Potter’s House Baptist Worship Center in Smithland.
Philosophy Biography: I feel truly blessed in many ways. I was born into a home that loved the Lord, and I married a man who loves the Lord. We have tried to raise our boys with a heart for God and His service. Throughout my time in the service, we found it important every time we moved to get involved immediately in church. Since we have moved here, I feel blessed that the Lord brought my boys, and then me, to Christian Fellowship School. We have tried to remain faithful to the Lord, and we know that He has remained faithful to us. I feel that I have truly grown, and continue to grow, in many ways since I have been teaching here at CFS. It is a joy to watch the students grow physically, academically, emotionally, and especially spiritually. My true desire is that all the students will graduate from here with a heart for the Lord and His service.
