Karen Greer
Christian Fellowship School
Grade Teaching: K4-High School
Subject: Music, Bible, Health
Professional Biography: I graduated from Murray State University with a degree in music. I have been teaching at CFS for 12 years, and have taught in the music program for 9 years. Previously, I was an independent piano teacher for the past 30 years.
Personal Biography: I am married to Marlin Greer and we have six adult children and 16 grandchildren. My husband teaches at Murray State University. We have been members of Christian Fellowship Church for the past thirteen years. Three of our daughters and their spouses have enjoyed the privilege of adopting international children, through which our family has been deeply blessed. We have two little boys from Guatemala, Cody and Isaac; and four girls from China and Guatemala—Maggie, Hannah, Rebecca and Kylie. They are a great joy to us and have enlarged our vision of God’s world.
Another blessing I have received by teaching at Christian Fellowship School is the privilege of directing the Omega Generation Outreach Team. The team consists of high school students dedicated to ministering to churches, youth groups and the lost through drama, music and signing. We have been able to go on several mission trips, including Mexico and Camp Penuel, a ministry aimed at inner city children.
Philosophy Biography: I have been a Christian since I was a young child and blessed to grow up in a Christian home. My heart’s passion is to plant a love for the Lord, and a deep desire to worship and serve Him in the hearts of the students. I pray that through their experience at CFS they will find and become equipped to fulfill His call on their lives.
