Christian Fellowship School
Grade Teaching: High School
Subjects: Math & English

Professional Biography: I graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1986 with a degree in German. In 1988 I completed a master's degree in Agricultural Economics. Starting as librarian at Christian Fellowship School in 2001, I now teach high school math and English.

Personal Biography: I was raised in Madison, Wisconsin, but spent my high school junior year in Sydney, Australia, as a Rotary exchange student. I am married to Ansgar Buchholz, a man I met when I was a university exchange student in Bonn, Germany. I have four sons.

Philosophy Biography: Mathematics is a language. While languages such as French or Mandarin have developed and changed over time, mathematics has not. Studying mathematics points us to its Creator in that, like Him, it has been absolutely perfect and complete since the beginning of time. Just as God created the animals and then entrusted Adam with naming them, He created mathematics in its entirety. He then entrusted us with the privilege of unveiling it piece by piece over the ages.
